Missing Fonts In Inventor 2009 Suite!

Hi has anybody lost fonts with Iventor 2009! I uninstalled 2008 now I get error messages saying: "cannot create font" & expected font is not available! any ideas how to get these fonts back. We use "romans.shx" one of the more popular ones & thats gone! Any ideas!

I had the same problem when uninstalling 2008. I can't remember the exact steps to reinstall the font. But I do remember it was done thru the Windows interface, probably using an option under control panel. Browse your installation disks to find the missing font so you can tell the windows install where to find the font. Your dealer should be able to tell you how to do this also.

If you know which font files you are missing just place them into your C:\WINDOWS\Fonts folder.

This will not work if you copy the files from the installation disks because they must be uncompressed during the install from the disk/DVD.
