Default Create "Topo" surface (color-coded by elevation)

Take a surface and generate a color-coded surface keyed off of elevation, similar to a topo (hiking) map or USGS quad map. Creating a 3D-version of this surface (similar to the DTM, but with color-coded 3D-planes for each triangle) would be ideal, so that views from any angle (not just top) could be created.

    Richard,

    This can already be done!

    Look at Surface Display
Elevation Banding, and have a nice day.
