Default Please add new render engine and Backurner support

I would like to see 2 new features that deal with rendering. First, would it be possible to integrate Navis into the Autodesk ProMaterials workflow for better integration with Revit and 3ds Max? The existing engine (Presenter) is the old Lightworks engine and it is slow and not particularly robust like mental ray. Amdient occlustion alone would help to better distiguish elements in a Navisworks model than using the old render technology.

Second, if Mental Ray rendering is added, would it be possible to also add Autodesk Backburner network rendering capabilities to Navis? Even if we were still tied to the old Lightworks engine, network rendering would significantly improve performance. Currently, many of our presenter models require an enormous amount of time to render one timeliner sequence, especially when we are getting down to the micro level form the macro level.

Any additional feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I asked for this feature in a different thread as well, and have also spoken to the Navisworks guys about it.

    Make the Backburner happen, please!
