    Default Boiler room

I didn't put materials and lights due to lack of time. Maybe next time.

Looks good. You could always come back and update it.

Is there anything you encountered in creating this model that you found difficult?

What type of hardware did you use to create it?

    How long did it take?
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

Nicely done there Chris! very detailed indeed..
In fact if you found some time to apply materials to everything and set-up a lighting scene with hard+soft shadows - you'll have a an awesome render

I agree, I can imagine it rendered with steel plate floor on 2nd story, rusted boiler, or water drop maybe? Maybe it will not only become an awesome result, it could be the greatest render I see from autoca

Thanks for your opinion. I did it in Autocad Map 3D 2009 using own lisps for 3D pipes. In fact the biggest problem was the cad because it has crashed so often that I started thinking about something new.
It seems to me that better renders I was able to do in AC2002 but perhaps I am too lazy for setting all options.

This is how boiler rooms should be designed/drawn.

Good work, really nice, the detail of the valves and the equipment is amazing. Did you use this model for the design drawings and layouts?

Yes I used this model for design drawings. In fact render is a side-efect. Boiler rooms and district heating substations etc. I usually design in 3D.
