Default Help with Sheet Set Manegment.

Me and a couple of my co-workers have decided to work the SSM into our standards and it seems like a really good idea but there are still some things we need to clear up. I was hoping someone on this site would be able to help me out.

I can't seem to make plot files without getting an error. I do my setup as if I was making a hard copy except for the obvious things like sending it to a file instead of a printer and I can never get past the 1st PLT. I’m not too sure what I am doing wrong. If I pick one Sheet at a time than it works but it goes very slow and I’m better off doing PLT's the way we have been doing it before we got introduced to SSM.

I have made a page setup that allows me to make PLT files, which is pretty much the same as pc3, and it seems to be working with the SSM when I only pick one sheet at a time.

It seems to be that if I pick more than 1 than all the sheets are being made under 1 PLT, if that makes any sense to you. I noticed that under the Publish Dialog Box if you click on Sheet Set Publish Options, it has an option to change the DWF type to Single or Multiple. I think what is going on is that when I try to make a PLT the default is set to multiple.

    Thanks Vey Much,

    Rojan

    Check out PUBLISHCOLLATE.

Also, make sure background publishing is turned OFF.
