    Question Viewport

I just finished installing 2010 and when I maximize the viewport to draw my crosshairs disappear. Anyone know why? They do not disappear in model tab.

    Two ideas come to mind:

    1. Are the crosshairs set to the same color as your modelspace background color?

    and/or...

    2. In Modelspace, is your SNAP (note: NOT OSnap) set to a really high value? Try turning the SNAP mode "off"

I have attempted to reproduce this and I cannot, is it possible you can post a screen shot, or some steps? Obviously 3 different people have experienced the same issue, although neither of the first 2 responded back to suggestions/questions.

How up to date are your graphics drivers?

i would think checking your graphics drivers are up to date would be the first port of call.

is your graphics card autocad certified?

I had a similar problem with the crosshairs disappearing. Autodesk provided the following infromation. Hope it helps.
    Wayne R. Cameron

We have discovered an issue in AutoCAD 2010 where the crosshairs turn the same color as the background and become invisible. This will be fixed in the first 2010 update.
One way to workaround this issue is to change the Visual Style from 2D Wireframe to Realistic, then back to 2D Wireframe. Another workaround is going to OPTIONS > Display > Colors and set the crosshairs to color 252.
Please let me know if I can assist further with this issue.
