    Question snap problem in some x-ref file

    when i open drawing which loaded with x-ref file & i tried to placed a new line,circle or anything or xref 's snap point but i'cant get a xref-sanp point .


    so please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Make sure the 0 layer is not frozen.

    Are there AEC objects in the drawing? Typically when we get an ADT drawing with a ceiling drawn with within a space, and the drawing had not been exported to a different version properly, I have to explode the ceiling to be able to lay the lights in and snap to the grid. (2D drawings).

    Entities with Z coordinates in the x-ref could cause issues too.

    For instance if Intersection doesn't work but Apparent Intersection does. Then it usually means you have differering Z coordinates.

    This is true it happens to me before, and the only way we can fix it is by placing all the Z into 0,0.
