    Default Map 3D 2007 - 3D to 2D Pline conversion

I have some 3D contour plines which I would like to convert to 2D so I can place a boundary around them. Is there an easier way than exploding them, flattening, and rejoining them?

I tried flattening alone, but the only way they will convert is when I tell it to remove the hidden lines and that adds extra angles.

    Thanks,

    Ray

Try exporting to shp file then import the shp file as plines.
