I am a pretty new Revit Structure user so the solution to my problem may be simple and just haven't come across it yet. I am having trouble aligning the end grips of shear walls I am modeling. I am modeling 2 C shaped concrete shear walls which should be identical to each other. They are being drawn as a basic wall system family that have been modified for thickness and structural usage to meet the plans. As far as I can tell all of the parameters for the two walls seem to be the same (Line Location, horontal/top vertical projection, etc.). The problem I am having is getting the flanges of one of the C walls to model to the correct length. No matter how I draw it the top flange snaps to a certain length and the bottom flange notches itself. I have tried typing in the desired dimension, changing the line location of the wall before and after I draw it, even mirroring the correct wall and all produce similar results. I have checked the floor slab (which was copied monitored in from the architects model and it appears to be consistant for the two openings which the walls frame. I have attached a pdf showing the two walls. The wall on the left is the one thats is the issue, and I have selected the slab (shown in red) for reference to the opening. If anyone can help identify the problem or offer any suggestions that would be apprieciated.
