Default NavisWorks support of Sketchup 7 files

Description: Earlier versions of Sketchup can be opened by NavisWorks. Is there a timelime for NavisWorks being able to open the latest version, Sketchup 7, files? Any plugins currently available that would allow me to get files from the free version of Sketchup 7 into Navisworks?

How Used: Transfer of file between softwares.

    Feature Affinity: Interoperability

    Hi Gregg,

You're very unlikely to get exact timelines because we're bound by our code of conduct not to make any specific promises on features (for various legal reasons). However, I'm always willing to at least give indications about what features are and are not being looked at.

SketchUp is a program that we support fully and aim to continue doing so. Therefore, a SketchUp 7 reader is something that is going to be looked at sooner rather than later.

The pattern with updated file readers has in the past, and will continue to be, that we 'roll up' all the latest available readers with each release, and then make specific updated readers (etc.) available to subscription customers throughout the year.

    Hope this helps.

    Andy
