2008 Save As Missing Dialog Box

My company has just started working out the bugs for 2008 using one user as the trial machine. So far so good, with the exception being when he goes to save as, no dialog box appears. It promps him for the path on the command line, any ideas as to correct this issue? He claimed it worked right initially but somehow it has now reverted to the command line input. I appreciate any help!!

Ok I think I was able to figure out my own issue.

type > filedia < and set it to 1

This somehow got "changed" from 1 without anyones help......

What is your system variable FILEDIA set to? Is it set to 1?

Ok I think I was able to figure out my own issue.

type > filedia < and set it to 1
