Default How does "Wall Closure" in Doors & Windows work?

In A Door Element, under Edit/New, Under the Construction type Tab, there is "Wall Closure"
What is it and how does that work?

    Thanks Guys
It is much easier to be an Obstacle in Revit then a Resource.

Doors, windows and other opening objects can contain wall closure reference planes that will determine where layers of wall materials will return. An example would be masonry veneer that returns to a window frame.
whether these returns will be applied can be governed by the door and window families or by the 'host' i.e. the wall. Which layers return is established in the definition of the wall style.
