Default Batch Process files to a earlier version using Save AS

    Many thanks in advanced,

We are sending files out to bid and have a contractor that can not use our files in 2008 format. I need to be able to do a batch process on multiple files at a time saving to a 2004/2005 format. Has anyone done this?

    Thanks, Mike

Use ETRANSMIT from the "File" menu.

Click on "Transmittal Setups" then "Modify."

You will see a drop-down menu where you can choose the file format. Pick 2004.

You may try DWG Trueview which is free and has the capability to convert drawing versions. You can download it from Autodesk site.

And make sure the other company has a copy as well so they can convert files on their own if they have to.

Send PDFs or DWFs not DWGs

    Thanks for the help...

I will download and give a try, so DWG Trueview will convert "multiple files" !!

That is what I need, Thanks!
