Exclamation linetype doesnt print correctly on the xref

I checked the setting of “psltscale”. Another possibility i tried was the individual lines have their “ltscale” properties set to a value other than 1 or the line type has been set to something other than “bylayer”. also checked layers...

    what is going wrong here?

so psltscale is set to 1, right? Are you viewing it in model space or paper space? If it's model space, set msltscale to 1 also, then do a regen.
Why is it called common sense when it is so rare?

    I did all of that...

I have a sheet file that doesnt print a linetype out right but when i go into the sheet file it prints correctly. The problem is with one of the layers "A-CLNG-DIM"...on the original file, it is set to a certain linetype, and when u plot from there, it plots correctly…yet on the xref sheet file the linetype does not plot properly.

    Deadlines suck

Make sure the linetypes are the same on both files

Is your variable "visretain" set to 1?
And did the linetype get changed in xref (or the plot sheet) during the process?

You could set visretain to 0, reload the xref and then set it back to 1 (but you will get the xref in what ever state its saved at, so be careful)

Or you could simply change the linetype in the plot sheet xref layer to match the xref base,
That layer name would look something like: Xref|A-CLNG-DIM

Okay, try copying the host drawing into a clean template, then Xref the drawing with the linetype in question. See if that works.
