    Question Blinking Viewcube

    Blinking (not bleeping) Viewcube

Leave it to me to find the good ones...

I mainly work in 2D but on occasion I switch to 3d Workspace. Today I switch to 3D and any time I move my mouse towards the Viewcube it blinks and disappears. The second I move the mouse away it reappears.

But if I click on where I think the different commands are they work fine, I just can't see the Viewcube when the mouse gets near it.

AND the UCS arrows in the lower left of the screen disappear at the very same time.

No hardware or software changes since last I worked in 3D.

    Any ideas?

    Still have the same problem.

    Using a NVidia Quadro FX1700 with 512 Meg on 2 NEC 1970VX 19" Monitors.

The card is "certified" by NVidia and Autodesk for CAD use

Downloaded the latest Quadro Graphics Driver (2/26/2009) which states in it's notes:

"Integrated AutoCAD and 3ds Max Performance Drivers in the graphics driver with auto-detection, providing increased performance. Support for three latest versions of AutoCAD and 3ds Max. Standalone versions or version updates can still be downloaded from the NVIDIA driver download page."

And it has fixed the problem.

Weird part is if you download the AutoCAD specific drivers they only address the Vanilla version of AutoCAD and won't recognize any of the verticals (e.g.: AutoCAD MEP 2009). An error will come up saying that the version of AutoCAD is not compatible.

But if you download the default Quadro Graphics Driver it addresses the MEP/Civil/etc verticals.
