Default GFI Outlet Label in Elevation View - Revit 2008

    Hi,

I'm trying to create a custom Electrical GFI Outlet from the OOTB Outlet GFI family and have the label show in elevation as opposed to plan, but for some reason I don't have the option to insert the label in an elevation view. Is there a setting I need to check to allow me to do this?

    Thanks,Jim

    Ugly workaround:

I make a DWG with the text I need and put it in the elevation view of the RFA.

Oh man, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the reply, though. Can you assign different DWGs to different Types within the family?

    Anyone else?
