    Exclamation bim standards?

    i want to do more customization to our office template just not sure what to leave out and put in?

    BIM Standards are in their infancy. There are a few initiatives of which I'm aware. Here is one such example.

    Our company was looking into buying this book as oppose to printing in/out of house, although the PDF is a fee download. Anyone know if the book is available for purchase? We are trying to decide what is cheaper..

    As far as I know the National BIM Standard does not have a book that you can buy. But if you want to know what kinds of stuff you might look at putting into your template the only real thing that the current NBIMS version1 states is that your paper output should conform to the National CAD Standard. Back in 2009 there was an AU class that talked about the NCS and Revit. 1 of the added downloads was a Revit template that had some of the NCS symbols.
