    Lightbulb Better Precast Concrete Support

I deal with a lot of precast concrete. I would like to be able to create a 'component' that is a fully detailled precast object. This may include walls and slabs and reinforcement. I need to create precast production drawings, as well as insert it into the model as 'Precast type XXXX' and schedule appropriately.

    Regards

    Dave

Have you tried groups. You can save groups out of the project and load into different projects. Sad that you can not schedule groups. That would be an improvement and answer to my pries.

    So I abandoned this way...

Thumbs up Re: Better Precast Concrete Support

    Hi Priit.L,

thank you for your reply. I will try that. (I am a relative newcomer to Revit having to pick it up pretty fast as we don't have any pre-existing expertise to fall back on!).

    Cheers

    Dave
