    Default Autocad 2010 Demo Videos

Thought some people would like to see these.

I just started looking at them. The constraints tool looks very promising.

I'm not a fan of constraints at all, but I'm a design engineer. The biggest pain in the *** is when you have to go back and completely redo something, your only option is to delete the entire constraint history and start over. I need the flexability to go back an make wholesale changes, As a designer I can't be constrained... by the, err, constraints.

In my opinion AutoCad is great as a explicit non-history based drawing and modeling tool. Hopefully those features can still be used in 2010.

It looks like Inventor will, at last, be getting "direct modeling" with Inventor Fusion.
Direct modeling is great when you are not producing families of similar products.
