Fun with Monitors...

I was wondering if anyone has seen this strange issue.

I've got someone running Inventor, and after a time (which varies), the CPU fan kicks in, and Inventor slows down (mouse moves slow, views rotate slow, etc).

Has anyone seen this before? I suspect that something is grabbing hold of the processor (maybe Inventor, maybe something else), but I'm open to any suggestions.

I have had similar issues but only when I run extra programmes at the same time. Sounds like something else grabbing the attention of the CPU.

It turned out that there was a program that was eating up a TON of CPU and RAM. The user didn't tell me what it was, but they definitely needed to clean out some stuff.
