Hi Folks
Why does the same piece of mtext look correctly in AutoCAD 2007 and messed up in AutoCAD 2009? see the attached 2 images. I would have thought that Acad 2009 could handle 2007 threw at it.
Any Ideas?

Is the same font available for both versions of AutoCAD?
Yes the font (romans) is available to both programs
How about Text Styles? Are the definitions that are used identical between the versions (height, width, etc...)?
I'm assuming all are the same as this is the exact same file opened in two different versions.
Could you post DWG's (2007 & 2009) with examples of this text problem? Kind of a "before and after" posting.
I would suggest posting the drawing as well, I know that in 08 mtext formatting got modified significantly, this could be attributing to the formatting issues.
Hi Folks,
Here are two versions of the file I'm talking about. Thanks for looking at these!
I've done some searching (AUGI, AutoDesk, etc...) but I have not come across a fix for this issue.
The only workaround that I could suggest is to explode the Mtext to standard Text in AutoCAD 2007 - then bring it over to 2009.
This probably isn't an acceptable workaround but it is all that I have to offer.
Hopefully someone else has a better solution.
