inserting specifications - word to acad

We have just switched from ACAD 2008 MEP to 2009 in a 64-bit environment and are now having problems inserting our specifications. For some time now we have been using an add-on program called DreamCad that essentially copied the text from a word document and pasted it into ACAD as dynamic text in a specified window. Dreamcad is no longer working on our 64-bit ACAD 2009. We also tried manually copy-pasting the word doc. text into M-text in autocad but there is a 28,000 maximum character limit in the M-text command. Does anyone know of an efficient solution to get a word document into autocad?

print the document as a pdf and then export from pdf to jpeg or tiff and insert as raster image. make sure you set the output settings in the export to maximum and make the pdf dimensions as large as possible to maintain quality.

Ok I gotta ask this - I'm not in your industry so its not immediately apparent - if you have a book, why put it into a drafting program? Why not leave it in the word processor file? I wish I could remember the originator of the quote for attribution but I do remember the question: "Isn't that like trying to drive a nail with a pickle?"
