    Default VPLAYER Broken in 2009

I have been a fan of the VPLAYER command for quite some time. I would usually use this command if a layer was added to a drawing and I only wanted it to show in a couple viewports. You can choose to freeze this layer in all viewports in the drawing and then thaw as necessary. As of the 2009 release (speaking Civil 3D and Land Desktop Companion on windows XP) the command no longer works.

Has any one else experienced this?

I do not have civil to check, but it appears to work fine in Vanilla AutoCAD.

I've had the same problem with it in Civil. It was a great tool that I relied on heavily when producing sets of plans that have upwards of 40 sheets. As it is I have to open DWGs in 2008LDD and save the layers the way I want them.

One possible workaround that may help in some circumstances is to use LAYVPI and set it to all instead of current. It will work only with isolate.

If you find an answer please post it.
