Unhappy Excel file in AutoCAD 2004 Plots upside down

So I have done a "special paste" of an Excel file into paper space. Looks fine, it's properly linked and the plot preview looks good. The problem is when it actually prints out, it prints upside down. Am I missing something?

If your plot is being rotated, the pasted objects (OLE) normally
    will not rotate when plotted.

    Hi

Check out the following Technical Documents on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

ID: TS21730 - Limitations of using OLE objects

ID: TS71114 - Some OLE objects do not plot

ID: TS47508 - Determine driver to use for optimal plotting of OLE objects and raster images

    Have a good one, Mike

Lightbulb Re: Excel file in AutoCAD 2004 Plots upside down

I have noticed that when i use several excel tables in my drawings and they are in different viewports, when i plot they are all oriented to the same direction. Conclusion - they are all oriented according to UCS. To be safe, i use this method - i insert them when I'm in World coordinates and all viewports containing excel tables are in world coordinates. And i have had no problems since.
I hope this helps - it works for me.

Unhappy Re: Excel file in AutoCAD 2004 Plots upside down

I am still having difficulties plotting OLE Ex cell files in LT2004. I can only get 5 very small columns without it chopping the rest of the spread sheet off. I have put it into model space and viewed it through a viewport - no difference. The only thing which has made a difference is turning the aspect ratio of in the properties box. This helps but it can make your print look very strange.

Has anyone got anything else for me to try?
