Default Mass Family - Mass Schedule - Missing Parameters

i created a series of mass families for space programming. when i create the schedule i cannot include the level. When i query the mass using element properties there are two instance parameters that are greyed out: Work Plane and Schedule Level. How can those be accessed and included into a Mass Schedule?

I don't believe they can. Masses appear to work similar to walls, in that the Level is only sort of a vauge reference plane to the object, since it can extend above, or below the "Level" it references. Therefore it is not accessible.
