    Default Vault Client

I have a consultant that needs access to my Vault. They do not have Inventor or anything that has the Vault client software. Is there a free download for just the client? Does this violate the licensing for ADMS?

    Aaron,

There is no free download for what you require. With Productstream, you can purchase "Producstream Explorer" which is a web-based application that allows access to released items. However, Vault is built specifically for the "Work In Progress" state, and as such is limited (by design) to only allow access to the design team (i.e. Only through the Vault application will access be granted).

And, yes, if Vault were to be installed on the consultant's computer without them having AutoCAD, Inventor, Civil 3D, or other such applications, it would be in violation of the terms of use.

    Sorry!!!
