    Default Panel board 'Mains' colloquism?

We can't figure out what 'Mains' is referring to in the panel board settings. Does it refer to the 'Main switch', 'Busbar', or 'Circuit breaker'?

    From Australia BTW.

My guess would be it refers to the Main Circuit Breaker, but then if you use a Main Lug Only panel you cannot leave the parameter blank, which is annoying.

So basically we have a parameter that I assume is used on all panel boards, and yet no one knows what it's actually referring to??

"Mains" refers to the rating of the mains feeding the panel. - From the RME User's Guide

    Maybe that doesn't help...

So where are you "supposed" to put the MCB if there is one? Modifications I guess?

I think one of the problems with panel schedules is that the panel itself has some very odd functionality. The panel itself feels too disassociated with the model in that everything needs to be set manually as just a text box.

It would be nice if you could set nominal breaker and bus sizes and have the program do a quick calc based upon the load to set that. It would obviously have to be overrideable though.

We've decided to use the 'Main' field for 'Main Switch' which is the main isolating switch. Hopefully this won't cause any problems with circuiting and things like that.
