    Smile Autocad

    Hello everyone.
I'm new here. I need some help with Autocad 2007 I have a network version and would like to set it up as a standalone version.

I went to Clackasmas Couumnity College Ore. Autocad 2000 for a year and a half. I use
    autocad to design furinture .

I work in production fabrication and the company I work work is closing the doors I have about 5 days left and will be out of a job.

I'm thinking about taking more autocad course.

So who actually owns the license you want to install as standalone?

Either way, the answer is that you contact Autodesk support. The difference is whether they help you or sue you.

    Welcome to AUGI.
I've moved your thread to the proper forum. Please take the time to read the forum guidelines under the FAQ section.

In order to change from network to standalone, you have to "upgrade". They are totally different versions. Without doing that, just install the license manager on the same pc.

    Beware the Educational Virus also....

All drawings and blocks etc created in your school using the Educational Versions of Autodesk Products will ALWAYS plot with the infamous "THIS DRAWING CREATED WITH THE AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE" Stamp all over them.

If you try and freelance and "recycle" any of your old blocks into you new work the client will get quite po'd when their files are "infected" with that drawing stamp.
