Unhappy Multiple Layouts using the Sheet Set Manager

I have taken an existing project with about 4 drawing files that have 4-5 layouts setup in each and created a Sheet Set based on these files. Works great and I can rename and reorder the set as needed. The problems come about when someone double clicks a sheet to open it and AutoCAD crashes. Am I missing something? Does the sheet set manager just not work with multiple layout tabs well. I know the documentation recommends not doing this, but it does not say you can not. Any help would be appreciated.

It would seem the problem here is only in the manner the user opens the
sheet. What happens if they use the File>>Open method to edit the sheets
and not attempt to double-click on them in sheet set manager?

I haven't had a problem with multiple layout drawings and the SSM. The only draw back with having set up this way, is no one else can edit a layout if you have opened another layout of the same drawing. Of course this isn't a problem if no one else is supposed to edit the files.

I believe there are no problems with that, just double clicking. We have found that if the drawing is opened to a certain layout it works fine, otherwise it crashes.
