Question Color Scheme Shows in Section But Not in Plan View

One of my users has got a baffling query, he has applied a Color Scheme for his project and in plan view all the rooms show the appropriate colour except one room, the room boundary, view range, visability graphics etc etc are all correct but no colour is shown. In a section view the colour is visable!!

Has anyone else had a similar problem? I know that 2008 had problems with Color scheme and stairs but I've never had any problems before this in 2009.

    Any help is much appreciated

Sounds nuts but try deleting and re-adding the room. I had similar with a room that was valid in Revit Arch but did not appear/show in Revit MEP. After wasting a lot of time just deleting the problem room and recreating it solved the problem

    Hi Robin

Thanks for the reply, deleting the room was one of the first things I tried, strangly when I delete the room then add in within the boundaries of the problem room a smaller room using room separating lines the color scheme shows up fine in both plan and section.

This is a problem I've had, and I remember solving it, and I remember the solution being something to do with the walls, but now I can't remember >_<

    Sorry!

I just ran across something similar, I was adding room separation lines, one end of the separation line overlapped a plan region slightly. The color wouldn't show, and the Room area was something like 100x too big! I just moved the plan region boundary over a bit, re-drew the room separation line, then moved the plan region boundary back over and it worked fine. FYI
