    Default Export to NavisWorks 2010

Maybe not appropriate for this forum, but I'll try...

Installed NavisWorks 2010 first, then Revit 2010... How do I get the export to NavisWorks option from Revit?

Posted in the NavisWorks forum as well...

    Thanks!

Because of the order you installed them, you have to figure out where Navisworks stores the plugin info, and then manually edit the Revit INI file to register the locations. Or....
Reinstall Navisworks, now that Revit is installed.

Was a pretty easy fix - this is what I did...

    Add/Remove Programs: Repair/reinstall the Exporters.

    Thnx.

Do you know if Revit materials export to Navisworks, or...

Do you know what level of Navisworks is needed...there seems to be...from free/inexpensive to "I have to hawk my car"

My suggestion would be to contact Autodesk technical support...I've done the 'repair installation' to Navisworks with good results.

Where is the Navisworks plugin icon/button within Revit 2010. There is no longer a Tools menu and I can't seem to locate the plugin within the application. Thanks for your help.

There is an Add-Ins Tab that should appear. On that "Ribbon, to the Far Left is an External Tools Tab/button with a little Down Arrow. It should appear there.
