Sorry if this is junior varsity...but when I try orbit in 3d in Revit 09 I hold the middle mouse button and shift and move the mouse however it just makes massive jumps in the view which are no use to me, please help?

Well to the eight genius' who looked at this post here's the trick I just remembered it. You have to select something for revit to orbit around if nothing is selected it'll just orbit around the whole model which isn't very helpful.
