Default Getting rid of inch and feet tick marks

I don't think this is possible but I told a user I would find out for sure.

We want to change the duct tag to read 12x24 and not 12"x24", is this possible?

    You have to do this.
    Edit the duct tag family.
Replace the size label with width and height from the catagory parameters (Do not use a shared parameter)
Format both width and height to decimal inches and change the unit symbol to NONE.
    Saveas.

    Your welcome.
Wouldn't it be nice to have that option with the size label.

The same steps work by going into Units settings in the project and not editing the tag.

Right, but that one is global.

    Update.
Changing the Duct tag from size to width x height disables the ability to tag round duct.
Bad idea, unless someone knows another parameter I could use other than size.
Also changing the units in the project has no effect on the loaded tags.

Use the OOTB duct tag. In your project, Go to Project Units -> HVAC -> Duct Size -> change "Units" to Decimal Inches, "Rounding" to 0 decimal places, "Unit Symbol" to none

You can still tag round ducts with this method and the inch mark won't show up.

    Nice.
    Well sort of.
I am not using decimal inches but that'll do.

What if I want to achieve the same thing, but for my pipe tags?
