    Default extended fillet?

so, whatever happened to the extended fillet command? I've used it through several acad versions, but with our upgrade to 2010 I find it is not included. I copied the command's lsp file into the express folder, and created a new button in the CUI for it, but when I initiate the command I get this on the command line:

    Command: _exfillet
Current settings: Mode = TRIM, Radius = 0"
    Select first object or [Polyline/Radius/Trim/Undo]:
    Select second object:
    Start of Group encountered.
Must enter UNDO END to go back further.

    Any help out there?

it sounds like it has been gone since release 2004/2007 or somewhere inbetween. I dont believe I have ever used it. I would guess something in the coding isnt compatible with 2010, and you may need to revise it.

What does exfillet actually do? It has probably been added to the program but I don't remember what it did.

set the variable edgemode to 1 to turn on fillet extension also works with the trim command

Extended fillet allowed the continued use of the fillet command without having to re-initiate the command for each pair of lines. I used it all the time, usually set at zero radius just so I could trim corners quickly.

Tried this, but still get the same error message for the extended fillet command.

Why not use the mUltiple option in the fillet command to keep it running without reinitializing.

good idea. I added \m to the command in my toolbar fillet button. Now when I initialize the command by button, it runs until I hit escape. Holding down shift while running the command will overide the currently set radius with zero.
