    Default Shortcut Menus Don't Work

I just discovered that my short cut menus don't work. (I'm new to AutoCAD 2008 and didn't I was supposed to have them.)

    Here's what I've checked:
    -- CUI:
"Shortcut Menus" is present in the tree in the "Customizations in All CUI Files" window
    and is populated
    -- Tools > Options > User Preferences
Shortcut menus in drawing area is checked
    -- Tools > Options > User Preferences > Right-click Customization
    Default mode: Shortcut menu
    Edit mode: Shortcut menu
Command mode: Shortcut menu enable when command options are present
    -- SHORTCUTMENU = 11

So why don't the shortcut menus work?

What brought this all up is that I want to flip the arrows on a dimension. I am now so frustrated I am about to do something rash: Please, somebody save me from exploding the dimension and fixing it manually...

    Best regards,
    Andy Hall

    Is PICKFIRST set to 1?

    Scott:

No, PICKFIRST was set to 0. Changed it 1 and now the shortcut menus work.

    Thanks.

Have you started using any custom codes in the recent past? The PickFirst setting itself to 0 is because something is erroring out & not setting any values back to normal. Usually happens if the user presses Esc - which cancels the code, thus preventing it from cleaning up after itself.

Sorry, I don't even know what custom codes are, so I probably not using them (at least, not intentionally).

Lisp, or similar, routines that provide custom commands.
