Worksharing - Can't Synchronize with Central

Hi all - newbie here. I have an issue being able to save to central from a secondary user, any advice is greatly appreciated! I didn't find another thread addressing this, but if there is one, please direct me to it as well.

Once I've set up central and local files, I am unable to synch with central from one of my local files - specifically from a user/computer other than the one I created the central file from. I get the error that Revit is unable to write to it because "it is read-only or opened by someone else." Before exiting the central file, I've relinquished everything and all the worksets are editable.

Any other possible things to consider?

For future reference, this was an IT issue, we had to go to the properties of the central file and change the security settings so that each user had full access/permissions. We then could all synch to this file.
