    Smile AutoCad Electrical 2008

I wish AutoCAD Electrical would update the default_cat.mdb database file to include Control Microsystems PLC's.

Control Microsystems is located in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

Control Microsystems has analog/digital input and output modules.

I work for a Consulting Engineering company in Canada. I am a Electrical drafter.

Our Electrical Engineer here likes using Control Microsystems PLC's.

Please add Control Microsystems to the default_cat.mdb database file.

    Thanks

    hinschberger

Good lucking in getting, Autodesk to do anything constructive.
Other than look after their share holders.

    shareholders = No. 1
    you & me = No. 2

    Welcome to AUGI!

Have you tried the User Guide (pdf file) that comes with the software?
Along with the Getting Started Manual (pdf file)

Oh, and there is a demo that comes with the software also that is very helpful.
Have you asked your retail seller? They would have AOTC classes available which comes with a work book.
We asked for a "Hands-on Test Drive" which has exercises to practice with, book and CD.

You could also attend a free ATP class here next month. See link.

Here is another link to some training, Brunette Technologies.

Let me know if you have this was helpful or you have any other questions.

AutoCAD Electrical is a joy to work with.

    Response to Bill Schlafer---

If you can't find an ATC class you can purchase the AOTC courseware directly from Autodesk. Suitable for self paced learning. Better for this product than many of the other books.
