Session Description: This session deals with problems CAD managers deal with every day in an in-depth and participatory manner. The theme of the session is to give you the skills in forecasting, planning, budgeting and cost justification of CAD technology so your budgets get approved and you don't get frustrated. While attention will be paid to CAD technology, it is the management aspect of the job that will receive the attention. Participants will be asked to create worksheets with cost estimates, ROI workups, benefit analyses and multiyear technology forecasts. The participants will also be encouraged to share ideas with the entire group in a structured format. This is not another PowerPoint session. This is a working session for working CAD managers.
