Class Description: Intended for AutoCAD Civil 3D users who are new to the API, this session discusses how to get started with developing applications on AutoCAD Civil 3D. We will look at the different API type libraries and how to reference them to access API objects. We will also look at the differences in programming the API in VB.NET and VBA environments. We will explore how to use the API to create simple COGO points, one of the basic building blocks of AutoCAD Civil 3D objects. Attendees are expected to be familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D COGO points and have some prior knowledge of VB programming.
