Default Feature line elevation from point

It would seem that if I am drawing a feature line and I snap to the Civ3d point that it would assign the elevation assigned to the point.

Is it possible to do that?

How are you drawing the feature line?

If using object snap, then is OSNAPZ set to 0?
    That works for me.

I was also able to use the 'PN transparent command and provide a list of point numbers (e.g.: 3- and the resulting FLine vertices were at the correct elevations.
Using the 'PO transparent command also works.
