Default CIVIL 3D AND MAP 3D

i'm trying to label a point using the Map 3d portion of C3D. I've brought in the shp file and have create a style.
i need to label these points (they are soil sample locations) by number. i.e.-SS1, SS2, ETC. The shape file
has an attribute for the sample number that i am referencing with an expression, but it only displays the number.
i would like to add SS or SS# in front of the auto generated number. is this possible and if so, can someone shed some light on how?

    thanks.

When choosing a label for the style, under Text content, choose Use Expression. Enter the following expression: Concat ( 'SS ' , PointID ) where PointID is the field name you are using.
