Storm Pipe Profile and X-Section

For years many municipalities did not require profiles of stormwater pipes. just X-sections of them in road and sanitary sewer profiles. in recent times I have seen stormwater profiling becoming required.

I have attached an image that shows a storm culvert in plan & profile. The profile pipe settings have both pipe and Xsection on. If this were a subdivision with curb & gutter with this culvert pipe being a pipe network crossing instead in a road profile, what would be the best practice to show only the X-section on with out the pipe network having 2 different pipe styles?

You can assign an override to your parts in the profile view properties dialog. This will allow your pipes to be shown normally in plan view and a cross section in profile view. Of course, you will need an appropriate style for your cross section view shown in your profile view.
