Does anyone have suggestions on a Benchmarking Program to rate/grade a PC's ability to handle intensive Civil 3D project files? Something in the realm of PassMark.
I tried cadalyst's benchmark test. However, I couldn't get the program to display the resulting indexes no matter what I tried. After an hour I decided it wasn't worth the effort because it was only testing three dimension drawings in regular AutoCAD and I felt that a mature Civil 3D project file would create greater, and different, demands on the system than say a simple three-dimensional steering wheel.

Not sure of any alternative to this, but can tell you that in running C2015 recently to gauge some recent changes I've made to my setup, the scores it rated were slightly lower than before the changes were made, but the actual performance I'm seeing in Civil 3D (i.e., times for drawing open/save, surface/corridor rebuild, export drawing, etc) have all improved when using my own benchmark tools (not to mention the user 'feel' of the UI/palette/ribbon responsiveness).
The above-linked test might be useful for some things, but you're always better off running your own benchmark tests for the specific areas you're wanting to improve, IMHO.

Consistently hitting the +/- 10,000 MB/s (SeqQ32T1) mark now:
