3D models display but no grips and export to empty file
I have now had a couple of 3D models that are really messed up. One of them had the editing grips located far away from the model. This latest problem is when I export this model to a .stl file there is nothing in the file. It is 0k and when I import to slicer it says it is empty. I can edit the model and it shows as a 3D model in properties yet there is nothing there when I use the export command. Other models I have created work fine. This is just really weird and strange. Any help will be very much appreciated. Frustrating to spend a lot of time creating a model and it is worthless. I tried to upload the .stl file but that type is not allowed. I think this needs to be reported to Autodesk but I don't know how. Thank you for any and all help you can give me.
After posting above I went back to edit and it cannot be edited. It shows perfectly fine. It list as a 3D model but it is nothing of any substance. This happened a couple of weeks ago and I just forgot about it but now it has happened again.
