    Smile OLE object

I am trying to insert an Excel spreadsheet into Acad '04 Electrical.
The max size it will insert is. 16x50, and my spreadsheet is around 20x140.

I was able to connect to it useing dbconnect, but I don't know how to display it or plot it.
Any help, I would be grateful.
    thanks

    Hi

For starters take a look at the information contained within the following couple of threads found in the AutoCAD FAQ forum -

OLE (eg Excel) Objects within drawing file not Plotting correctly

Working with OLE (eg Excel) Objects within a drawing file

    Have a good one, Mike

I don't think OLE objects are going to work for what I need to do, unless I do some piecing together. I was able however, to set up my spreadsheet as an ODBC and bring it in using db connect. I was wondering if it is possible to display that in my drawing. And plot a large spreadsheet all at once.

What version of Excel? You need to be running Excel XP or 2003, along with Win2k or WinXP, in order to get large OLE areas from Excel.
