How do you plot a drawing to show the date it was created?

It's putting today's date rather than the date it was originally created. I even attached the inches.pss and the mm.pss files along with it and directed it in the plot area where these files are.

Add the field Create Date in your titleblock. That will display the date the file has been created.

If all you want is the creation date then all you need is a simple piece of text. Why get more complicated than that?
