I.E.; 2"-3" vertical strips spaced in 12" to 24" increments along a wall.
In such that it will read properly in a model also, not just plan or elevation.

I believe there is a very complicated way of getting this done (using structural members or mass elements for battens and attaching them to a layout curve, then attaching the layout curve to the wall), similar to the multiple lavatory counter symbol in the AEC Content. But the attached members don't automatically repeat and add themselves if the wall is lengthened, so I think this would be a nice feature to add to walls in general. It could also be used to automatically create vertical studs within the wall. I'm sure it can be done fairly easily, as it can already be setup within a structural member (like the web joist styles).
