When i want to open or save a drawing, it takes ages for dialog box to appear.
I have AutoCAD 2004 LT on Win XP Pro - the problem occurred before i installed SP2.
How to get it back to normal? Any ideas what causes it?
Thank you!

Hi
Have a browse of the following thread (especially take note of any links within) -
Problem with open/save dialog box
Have a good one, Mike
(Sorry - i was not very good searching the forum.)
My solution is- i cleared all locations, that refer to network locations, from "look in:".
And now it works just fine.
(And all the shortcuts, i removed, i put on desktop (its only one click away from "look in:"))
just wanted to confirm that the "look-in" solution worked for me.
After re-mapping a network drive, the "open" and "save" dialogs opened with a huge delay.
I assumed it would be related to a path setting somewhere, but I thought I had them all cleaned up already. Since I never use that "look in" feature, I didn't check there...
So this hint was very valuable!
