Switching between Tool Palettes cause view option on Palettes to reset

we are a large firm and have different pallets setup for different disciplines and clients.

We switch from pallet to pallet via a palette switcher that has been created for us. The question I have is every time I switch pallets I loose my view options. They go back to large icons with text.

Is there a variable so that I can change it to default to a different view option upon loading?

ah - the view settings are saved in the autocad profile in ac2005 - when swithing toolpalettes with toolpalettepath, the viewsettings are reset.
In ac 2005 the toolpalettepath command is use in macro's to handle palette groups - because you can't export those in ac2005.
fromoff 2006 you can, and therefore don't need to use the toolpalettepath anymore
