Below is a link to a great CADclip tutorial on creating Stairs by Linework. Could be the best unknown secret of ADT.

I think most people (present company included) have struggled with the ADT Stair tool...especially if you dare to use the 'winder' options. We have all seen the red circle of death. Well there is a very easy solution to it all......'Stairs by Linework'.
